Kia ora bloggers! Yesterday in Science we did an experiment with a coin, four pipettes, safety glasses and five very fragile test tubes. In groups of three you had to grab a pipette and your 5 test tubes, we got the 5 different solution A,B,C,D and water.
We got a coin and counted how many drops of solution A,B,C,D or water can fit on a coin using the pipettes for each drop. This is mine and my buddies chart work.
Solution | Test 1 | Test 2 | Test 3 | Average drops |
A | 23 | 35 | 23 | 27.0 |
B | 33 | 29 | 29 | 30.3 |
C | 22 | 23 | 29 | 24.7 |
D | 22 | 23 | 25 | 23.3 |
Water | 25 | 11 | 18.0 |
Here are the average drops onto the coins.
Solution | Average drops |
A | 27.0 |
B | 30.3 |
C | 24.7 |
D | 23.3 |
Water | 18.0 |
Reading the chart it says that D is the water because it is the closest drops to the water. Saying that D is water!
